Creating Material Definition

Open the CAD Define Material dialog (Visualization > Home > Materials).
Enter a Material Name (e.g. dp-transparent).
Define the material's attributes
- A material gains transparency with the increase of the Transmit attribute.
- The Cast Shadows check box needs to be un-checked.
- The Transparent Background check box needs to be checked.
Add the definition to the Materials list by clicking the Add button.
Note: If an attribute of the material needs to be changed, make the changes and click the Replace button.
From the File menu, save the palette
For new palettes, make sure to save it in the same folder as the location of model seed files. (Seed files are located in the msce subfolders of the project:
C:\ProgramData\Bentley\PlantWise CONNECT Edition\PlantWise Projects\Demo-Projects\<your_project>\msce.)
