The nature of a
PlantDrafter drawing is that only the
components generated by
PlantDrafter are actually saved as part of
CAD’s auto-save functionality. Components from the model act as a reference
file that will not be part of the v drawing when opened outside of
PlantWise.
To save the full drawing properly:

Click the
Save As button from the
Drawing Actions command section before closing
the drawing.
It opens the
Save As (Drawing File) dialog.

Once the drawing is saved, you are prompted with the message shown
below. At that point, it is safe to close the drawing.
