PlantSight for OpenPlant Project Home Page

The PlantSight for OpenPlant project home page is where you launch PlantSight for OpenPlant 's services, view recent project events, review notifications, and access your account information and personal profile. If you are an administrator, the PlantSight for OpenPlant project home page is where you administer projects, teams and roles ,and tagging systems.

Layout and Settings

The PlantSight for OpenPlant home page layout consists of the Tool Bar, the Navigation pane, and the Content pane. The Tool Bar (top) provides controls to access existing projects or register new projects. The Navigation pane (left) provides access to the PlantSight for OpenPlant services. The Content pane display varies depending upon what service or content is loaded. For example, on the Home page, the Content pane lists general project information.

Setting	Description
	Click to return to the Page.
Projects menu	Located beside the PlantSight for OpenPlant icon (and similar in function to), the projects list drop down menu allows you to view All Projects or Add Projects.
Quick Links	Opens the Quick links panel where you can register a new link, and edit, move, or delete existing links.
Notifications	Opens a notifications panel where you can view project notifications. There are options to read All or Unread notifications, and to Mark all as read. There are also options to Group by: Date or Category. Clicking the notifications opens links associated with them. Close the panel by clicking the “ X ” button.
Help	Click to view what's new in PlantSight for OpenPlant , submit an idea, or access online help (this document).
My Profile	Used to view your CONNECT User profile (View Profile), define your User Settings, or Sign Out.
Publish to Facility	Publishes current facility/project data to the Facility.
Home	Returns you to the PlantSight for OpenPlant project home page.
Queries	Opens Queries to view model and equipment data using default queries or user defined queries that you can share with teams.
Acquisition	Opens Data Acquisition which is used to import plant data into PlantSight for OpenPlant .
Aggregate	Opens Data Aggregation which is used to review imported data and merge it with existing data in the Digital Twin.
Viewer	Opens Viewer to view all the P&ID, 2D and 3D data associated with the Digital Twin so you can start planning out tasks for the next maintenance event.
Named Versions	Allows you to update the Named Version of the project.
Validation	Opens Validation to validate project data with project team member defined Rules and Tests, and to review these test Results.
Configure	Opens PlantSight for OpenPlant Configuration where you can administer PlantSight for OpenPlant projects, and teams and tagging systems. Setting Description Project Details Opens Editing Project Details to configure project information. Users & roles Opens Users & roles management to define user and role access. Briefcase Management Opens Briefcase Management which is used to release briefcases. Reality Data Lets you reality data to a project. Visualizer External Links Lets you define external URL links for the Viewer. Dashboards & navigation Lets you customize your user PlantSight for OpenPlant dashboard and navigation user interface. Data Manager Opens the Data Manager. Quick link management Lets you manage Quick Links. iModel manager Opens the iModel manager.
