To Create a New WorkSpace

OpenTunnel Designer ships with three workspaces: Imperial (Survey Foot) Standards, Imperial (Foot) Standards and Metric Standards. These three workspaces have all the necessary template files, library files, dgnlib files etc. for supporting all functions from modeling to drawing generation in OpenTunnel Designer .

To create your own custom workspace, use the following procedure.

  1. In the Work page, select Create WorkSpace from the drop-down menu.

    The Create WorkSpace dialog opens.

  2. In the Name text box, enter the name of the new WorkSpace.
  3. Optional: In the Description text box, enter the WorkSpace description.
  4. Optional: Set the desired folder locations.
  5. Click OK.

    The WorkSpace directory is created and the workspace is automatically chosen in the Work page.
