UTR Unfolded View

The procedure to generate a UTR Unfolded View drawing for TBM UTR tunnels is as follows:

  • User specifies dynamic view settings to be used for UTR Unfolded View drawings. The settings can be manipulated each time the user needs to make a change in the way the drawings will be generated.
  • User starts the UTR Unfolded View command.
  • User selects placed TBM UTR tunnel and data point to accept. Conventional tunnels and TBM tunnels will not be accepted for the selection.
  • The Unfolded View window will be opened.

    • The following options are available for input:
      • Draw Faces – It allows the user to select the face of the ring that will be shown in the drawing. Users have three options: Internal, External, and Both.
      • Draw Ring Sequence – It allows users to specify the ring positions that will be drawn. The sequence does not represent the ring sequence as placed in the 3d model, it gives user the option to create the drawings in a custom sequence. The ring numbers should be separated by comma.
      • Add Annotations – It allows users to add annotations to the drawings.
      • Add Dimensions – It allows users to add dimensions to the drawings.
      • Draw Rotation Matrix – It allows users to add ring rotation matrix to the drawings.
  • After the selections are made, the user clicks on Create Drawing.
  • Create Drawing window will be opened.

  • User clicks OK to create the drawing.
