UTR Ring Positions

The procedure to generate a UTR Ring Positions drawing for TBM UTR tunnels is as follows:

  • User specifies dynamic view settings to be used for UTR Ring Positions drawings, if needed. 
  • User starts the UTR Ring Positions command.
  • The command window will be opened.

    • The following options are available for input:
      • Draw All Positions – It allows users to show all ring positions in the drawing when it is checked.
      • Ring Positions – It allows users to specify the ring positions that will be shown in the drawing. The ring position 1 shows the default position that has been defined on the template. The ring numbers should be separated by comma.
      • Add Annotations – It allows users to add annotations to the drawings. 
      • Add Dimensions – It allows users to add dimensions to the drawings. 
      • Draw Faces – It allows the user to select the face of the ring that will be shown in the drawing. Users have three options: Front Face, Rear Face, and Both. The faces are determined by the advancement direction. “Both” option overlaps the front and rear face of that ring position.
  • User selects placed TBM UTR tunnel and data point to accept. Conventional tunnels and TBM tunnels will not be accepted for the selection.
  • Create Drawing window will be opened.

  • User clicks OK to create the drawing.
