How to Define Steel Arches
In the case of steel arches reinforcement, the user needs to select the Define option that will open the 2d sketcher mode. In 2D Sketcher, he can draw and tag the lines that represent the guidelines where the steel arches will be placed.
In Define mode, for tagging geometry the following GUI will be presented:
- Tag Steel Arches – The length of the steel arches will be equal to the length of
the line that has been tagged. In the tag tool, the user will specify a group
name. There are three different element template options with different colors
that have been provided to visually separate reinforcement groups on Template
Preview in case of overlapping lines. The user can add more element templates in
the dgnlib library, if needed. The accepted geometry for the tagging process
contains: lines, arcs, B-spline, chain of lines and arcs, complex shapes.

- Once the user saves his changes, in the GUI the following information can be
seen:
- The current number of the defined elements.
- Group Name of the defined elements.
