How to Define Piles

In the case of piles reinforcement, the user needs to select the Define option that will open the 2d sketcher mode where he can draw and tag the lines that represent the centerline of the piles.

In Define mode, for tagging geometry the following GUI will be presented:
  • Tag Piles - The length of the pile will be equal to the length of the line that has been tagged. In the tag tool, the user will specify a group name.

  • Once the user saves his changes, in the GUI the following information can be seen:

    • The current number of the defined columns.

    • Group Name of the defined columns.

    • Send to PLAXIS option that is used to specify if this information is to be sent to PLAXIS or not.
