Settings

To specify dynamic view settings for UTR Unfolded View and UTR Ring Positions drawings, use the following procedure.

  • Open Dynamic View Settings dialog.
    Either : Select Settings tool from Drawings group on Analysis and Reporting tab.

  • Specify the settings according to the descriptions below.

    SETTINGS DESCRIPTION
    Hidden Style Name The style name used for hidden lines.
    Unit Dependent Data Set Unit System The unit system that is used in the workspace.
    Dimension Style Name Dimension style name to be used for all dimensions.
    Title Text Style Name Title style name to be used for all titles.
    Drawing Seed Model The name of the drawing seed model to show by default in the Create Drawing dialog when the Create Drawing tool is selected.
    Geometry Levels Interior Lining The level that is used for interior lining.
    Exterior Lining The level that is used for exterior lining.
    Lining Segment The level that is used for lining segment
    Key The level that is used for key.
    Auto Dimensions Offset The distance away from object at which the dimensions are placed.
    Parallel Plane This option is checked if the user only wants to see dimensions for objects surfaces parallel to the cutting plane. Any projected dimensions for sloped elements will be skipped.
    Style Ignore Duplicate

    Select this style if to ignore all duplicate dimensions.

    • Project Sloped Dims : Used to project sloped dimensions.

    • Unique By Type : If it is selected automatic dimensioning is done only for the first ring on unfolded view drawing.

    AllSides

    Dimensions are done on all sides of all objects.

    • Project Sloped Dims : Used to project sloped dimensions.

    Levels Unfolded View The level that is used for dimensions in unfolded view drawings.
    Ring Positions The level that is used for dimensions in ring positions drawings.
    AutoFit Horizontal Input a value between 0 and 100 to move drawings in sheet to left and right respectively.
    Vertical Input a value between 0 and 100 to move drawings in sheet up and down respectively.
    Enable Reference Scaling(Fit) This option is checked if the user wants to adjust the drawings to fit the sheet border in the ratio specified in the size % field.
    Size Input the percent by which the drawings are scaled to fit the sheet border.
