To Edit Text

Select the Edit Text tool.

Select the text.

The Text Editor window opens, with the text already highlighted.

In the Text Editor window, make the desired changes to the text. To start a new text line while typing in the edit field, press Enter.

Do one of the following:

Tip: Double-clicking a text element with the tool pointer activates the Edit Text tool and opens the Text Editor window .

Note: When the Edit Text tool is closed, the active settings revert back to the previous settings

Note: A single-line text element is changed to a text node if a line is added to it.

Note: Dragging the handle of a selected text element with the tool pointer modifies the text:

To change the aspect ratio of the area in which the text resides, drag a corner handle. This may cause the text to rewrap; the text need not have been placed using the Word Wrap method for rewrapping to occur.
To scale the text, drag either the top, bottom, left, or right handle.
