To Attach a Model Reference from the Models Dialog

  1. Click the Models icon ( Drawing > Home > Primary ).

    The Models dialog opens.

  2. Do one of the following:
    • Drag the model to be referenced from the Models dialog to the open view.
    • Click the References icon ( Drawing > Attach > References dialog launcher ) to open the References dialog. Then drag the model to be referenced from the Models dialog to the References dialog.
  3. In the Attach Source Files dialog, from the Attachment Method option menu select Interactive.
  4. Click OK.
  5. In the Reference Attachment Properties dialog, adjust settings as required.
  6. Click OK.
