What is a Digital Twin?

A digital twin is a digital representation of a physical asset, process, or system, as well as the engineering information that allows us to understand and model its performance.

A digital twin enables you to visualize the asset, check status, perform analysis and generate insights to predict and optimize asset performance.

Considering each tower is an asset, Asset Digital Twin is the master digital twin of the real tower in its current state.

Projects are initiated for the design, construction, and maintenance of the asset. Each project consists of a project digital twin that starts off as a clone of the asset digital twin and potentially deviates for the duration of the project. Every project should have a notion of project completion which will result in either the merging of the project digital twin into the asset digital twin or discarding the entire project.
