This option lets us see components and meshes as hatched, filled, or patterned in the cross-section views and sheets.

The ability to do this is from feature definition and element template.

1. Go to Home > Attributes > Element Templates > Manage.

2. Modeling> Components >Select the component to show hatching/filled/pattern.
3. Right Click on a Component > Add > Pattern/Hatch. You can select hatching or area-pattering properties as per the requirement.
4. You can Add/Modify the properties as per the requirement.
