End Area Volumes Report

End Area Volumes Report is a reporting tool that used to perform end area volume calculations to compute cut, fill, and net volumes using a series of cross sections.

Generating End Area Volumes Report

To generate end area volume report you must set the cross sections with the existing terrain and corridor components displayed. The end area volume annotation text is displayed on the cross section.

Process to generate the End Area Volumes Report.

Pre-requisite: Before generating the "End Area Volume Report" you must create the "Cut and Fill Volumes" on the dgn file.

  1. Select the Model Analysis and Reporting > Civil Analysis > End Area Volumes Report. After selection of report select the Named Boundaries group for which you need a report.
  2. After the selection of the Cross-section Named Boundaries group, accept or ignore the next prompt by left clicking to select the Cross-section exceptions or right clicking to ignore any exception and all Cross sections will be included.
  3. This prompts the user to select some exceptions: Select the Start Cross-section name boundary for volume exception and to select the End Cross-section name boundary for volume exception, what that means is to select a gap or sections where the user does not want volumes reported for example a bridge.
  4. Right-click to complete, and it will process the selected Named Boundaries and will generate a report.

End Area Volume Report is generated and you can analyze the different quantities and select different style sheets to see different types of reports.
