Export to PLT

The Export to PLT feature in SignCAD allows users to export to PLT files.

The Export to PLT parameters are as explained below.

  1. Plt File Name: Click the three-dot button in the upper right corner to set the destination path and file name of your .plt file.
  2. Plotter Name: Select the plotter to plot from. If you do not see your plotter, please contact Bentley Support.
  3. Scale: Set the scale and plotter units.
  4. Material Size: Set the material width, length, and margin.
    1. Extensible: This choice should be enabled when using a roll of material. It should be disabled when working with a sheet of material.
  5. Orientation: Choose the proper orientation for your .plt file.
  6. Lower Left: Define the lower left of the print file. The default will be the lower left of your sign.
  7. Automatic Tiling:
    1. Multi-sheet: When enabled, the preview will display multiple sheets. These sheets are delineated by blue lines and are contingent upon the specified material dimensions.
