The Merg into
Master option can be used for an
OpenPlant Modeler
file when running in Microstation Mode.
However, you must first turn off the handlers for all OpenPlant components for
the file while still in the standard
OpenPlant Modeler
mode. The steps below detail how this is done.
Note: It is recommended to make a backup of the file to be merged as once
you turn off the handlers the file will no longer be able to be used in
OpenPlant Modeler
.

Launch
OpenPlant Modeler
and open the file which is to be merged.

Enter the following keyin:
mechaddin WipeData Handler
This keyin will delete the
OpenPlant Modeler
component handlers.
Note: You can also use the
mechaddin WipeData EC keyin which deletes
the handlers as well as the EC data.
The following warning message displays:

Click
Yes to delete the handlers.

Close the application and launch
OpenPlant Modeler
in Microstation Mode.

Open the master drawing or create a new one.

Open the References dialog and attach the
OpenPlant Modeler
file from above.

Right-click on the referenced file and select
Merge into Master from the menu.

Select the view into which to merge the referenced file.
An alert box asks you to confirm that the selected
references are to be merged into the active model.

Click
OK.
