To Attach a Raster Reference Interactively

Do one of the following:
- From the Raster Manager File menu, choose Attach > Raster.
- In the Raster group of the Attach tab, select the Attach Reference tool.
- In the Raster Manager dialog, click the Attach icon and select Raster in the drop-down menu.
The Attach Raster Reference Open dialog opens.
- Use controls in the Attach Raster Reference Open dialog to select the raster image file.
- Optional: To preview the file being attached, select the Raster Preview check box.

Select the Place Interactively check box.
Note: Rotation and Affinity values are not applied to image(s) when attached when Place Interactively is selected.
- Select the Open Settings Dialog check box.
- Optional: Select the Open as read-only check box.

Click Open.
The Raster Attachment Options dialog opens.
- Modify the attachment settings, as required, then click Attach.
- In the Attach Raster dialog choose the desired method.

Do one of the following:
- If the Block method was selected: Place a data point in the designated view to define the origin of the image. Then place a second data point to define the opposite corner of the image.
- If the Oriented Block method was selected: Place a data point in the designated view to define the origin of the image. Then place a second data point to define the direction of the image. Then place a third point to define the opposite corner of the image.
- Reset to finish.
