To Attach a Single Reference

Click the References icon (
Drawing > Attach > References dialog launcher
View > Home > Primary > Attach Tools > References
).
The References dialog opens.

Click the Attach Reference icon.
- In the Attach Reference dialog, select the DGN file that contains the model to attach as a reference.
- From the Attachment Method option menu, select Interactive.

Click OK.
Note: If the selected file does not belong to the active WorkSet , you will get an alert mentioning the same. Click OK to continue.
- In the Reference Attachment Properties dialog, adjust settings as required.
- Click OK.
