Named boundaries

Named Boundary is any closed element that has a name associated with it. In OpenRoads Designer named boundaries are created based on alignment.

OpenRoads designer uses MicroStation Named Boundaries to define plan, profile, and cross section clipping areas. The Named Boundaries are used to create Drawing and Sheet models needed for plan, profiles and cross section sheets.

Get named boundaries from active model

Create new named boundary and group

Delete named boundary

Change name of named boundary

Delete all named boundaries with related sheet and drawing models

Auto create different named boundary groups based on chainage of applied templates

Recreate named boundaries on change in alignment

Update drawing and sheet model on change in named boundary
