Regression Line from Line

You can access this dialog from the following:

Ribbon: Geometry > Create Regression > Regression Line from Line

Creates regression line from a 3D LineStrings. Vertical information from the 3D LineStrings will be added to the new regression line as vertical geometry.

Note: This tool works for a linestring live in the file but not for a linestring in an attached reference file.

Points Feature Definition: Used for creating regression points. Complex Feature Definition: Used for created related Regression Complex Geometry.

Feature: Used for creating Regression line.

Note: As the regression points are newly created with this tool, survey information can be in a reference file and does not have to be in the active dgn (model).
