Geometry Alignment Replacer
You can replace the geometry
alignments using the Geometry Alignment Replacer tool.
You can access this tool from the following ribbon:
Ribbon: Geometry > Horizontal > Modify.
Geometry Alignment Replacer
The tool provides the function to replace the path of a Horizontal Alignment with the path of another element. The Element replaced with a new path will retain the same name, feature definition, and element ID.
Thus, all objects ruled by this element will respond to the geometry's new position defined by the new path element. This includes geometry, corridors, annotations, and other object types within the same DGN file or any objects referencing this element over reference files.
Geometry Alignment Replacer dialog is as shown & explained below.
Delete New Path Element
Toggle allows the deletion of the element that was used to define the new horizontal path of the geometry being replaced. This is only allowed when the New Path Elements reside in the Active File. This helps to prevent duplicate elements in the file that you would need to manage after using the tool.
