Organize Behavior Property of Civil Labeler
Civil Labeler now includes a new property called Organizer Behavior, which works in conjunction with the Label Organizer tool to improve label placement within Named Boundaries.
- The Organizer Behavior setting is defined within each Civil Label and determines how the Label Organizer will treat that label during automatic repositioning.
- This property allows Civil Labeler to communicate label movement intent to Label Organizer.
Available Organizer Behavior Options:
- Point: Allows labels to move freely. Recommended for point-like objects such as drainage nodes, ends of lines, or station/offset callouts.
- Linear: Restricts label movement along a linear element. Ideal for conduit callouts or bearing labels without leaders.
- Area: Keeps labels within a defined area. Useful for drainage area callouts without leaders.
- Ignore: Prevents the label from moving but treats it as an obstacle for
other movable labels. This is the default setting for:
- Upgraded WorkSpaces
- Upgraded WorkSets
- Newly created Civil Labels
- Newly created Annotation Definitions
Note: Organizer Behavior only affects labels placed within
Named Boundaries and only when Label Organizer is used.
