Validate Regression Points
This command provides a means to validate a series of points based upon a limited set of criteria. The validation allows you to verify completeness (enough data has been collected in the field) and data correctness (blunder checking).
You can use the validate tool on 3D or 2D models. Model should be active (not a reference) in order to work with the tool.
Validate Data
You can set validation criteria using the interface. Validate Data dialog is first displayed when the tool is started and can also be later displayed using the Validate Data icon.
Distance: Minimum and Maximum distance between adjacent points.
Deviation: Minimum and Maximum deflection between the previous and next points.
Gradient: Absolute maximum gradient between adjacent points.
Gradient Difference: Absolute maximum gradient difference between adjacent points
Dialog Options
Validate Regression Points Report: Creates a report showing the validation results.
Zoom to Selected Points: Sets plan zoom to selected points on the table.
Validate All Regression Points: Displays Validate Data dialog. Please see Validate Data.
Clear Warnings: Clears warnings on the points for the active validation work. If you run validation on multiple objects, such as left rail and right rail, each set of warnings should be cleared by selecting the objects again.
