Change Regression Complex

You can access this dialog from the following:

Ribbon: OpenRail Modeling > Rail > Regression > Regression Tools split-button.

Changes the complex geometry associated with the selected regression line. You can also use this tool also to assign a complex geometry to a regression line with no related complex (such as from an upgraded file). If an entire complex geometry will be assigned to the regression line, instead of a simple geometry element (or a short complex geometry section), Change Regression Complex tool should be used instead of the basic Add to Regression Complex tool.

When a geometry is assigned to a regression line, vertical geometry of the new complex is also carried over to the regression complex. But vertical geometry elements still needs to be manually added to vertical regression complex, using Add to Regression Complex tool in order to have lift/lower values updated.

Note: Tool does not work with not ruled geometries (basic CAD elements) or some geometry rules such as Offset Geometry. When a geometry is not supported, this will be displayed with "No-Civil Rules Found" warning. In such cases if the geometry is not ruled, you can use Create Civil Rule Feature tool to add rules or if it is an unsupported rule, you can use Simplify tool, to simplify geometry to basic geometry rules.
