Cant Rotation Options
Cant rotation point can be defined per cant point. After initial creation with Create Cant command, points can be individually changed to required rotation option. While setting different rotation options for points, it is important to change the rotation based on curve sets, multiple points, in order to get meaningful rail elevation.
Inside: Keep inside rail fixed (at the profile grade line), move the outside rail with applied cant amount.
Outside: Keep outside rail fixed (at the profile grade line), move the inside rail with applied cant amount.
Right: Keep right rail fixed (at the profile grade line), move the left rail with applied cant amount.
Left: Keep left rail fixed (at the profile grade line), move the right rail with applied cant amount.
Center: Move both rails, distribute cant half to each one.
Force Positive: Force positive option keeps rail elevations always above the profile grade line. This option behaves same as Inside Rail option except the application of negative cant.
In case of negative cant, cant is first applied same as inside rail option, keeping the inside rail at profile grade line and lowering the outside rail. Then both rails are moved upwards as much as the negative cant amount, bringing lower rail elevation to profile grade line, while moving the other rail up.
