Trace Display

Trace display provides an easy to use, visual tool for verifying the regression analysis. Display adds 2 offset lines to the calculated geometry element. Lines represents Desired and Unacceptable slew values (Lift/Lower) and can be modified individually for left and right (Lift/Lower). Slew diagram is also dynamically updated with the changes, while also showing the original diagram for better comparison.

With trace display and dynamic updating of the slew diagram you can better determine the extends of the new element, where elements goes into a transition zone, or another element type.

Trace Display is activated by Single Element Regression and Single Element Nudge tools.

Offset values are controlled by the tool that is being used. As values changed from tool dialog, graphics also updates. Unacceptable slew and lift/lower values are also written to the regression points used in the calculation for future analysis (see Point Table) and dynamic highlighting (See Regression Display Settings).
