Regression Complex Geometry
The Regression line creation also creates an empty complex geometry. This Regression Complex Geometry acts as a container to add new geometry elements.
Regression Complex Geometry
- Related to regression points. Any changes in this geometry updated the slew values.
- A vertical (profile model) is also created automatically as part of regression complex geometry. Any work on horizontal adds vertical regression points to profile.
- Regression tools automatically adds created elements to complex.
- Manually created geometry elements can also be added automatically to complex with having Regression Mode On (See Regression Complex Table) or using Calculate Horizontal/Vertical Slew command.
- Cant and speed table can also be added to the Regression Complex Geometry using normal cant/speed table tools. These tables can be used to store cant/speed values while working on the regression, before creating the full connected geometry.
Regression Complex geometry has the same structure as a regular geometry complex, and can be manipulated and used as such. Main difference is its connection to regression line/points.
