Rail Settings
Contains rail settings for Bending Axis, Track Widening and Cant.
Predefine design parameters for Bending Axis and Track Widening, which are used define additional horizontal corrections, by the curve radius, that are used to compute the rail location. Bending Axis and Track Widening settings are optionally selectable in the Create Rail tool.
Predefine design parameters for Cant, which are used define the Cant from the current curve radius. Cant values are applied from the Rail Settings > Cant, when creating the Cant and optionally select the Cant Table from Rail Settings.
- Open Explorer and go to OpenRail Standards
- Expand Rail Settings
- Expand Bending Axis Table, Track Widening Table or Cant Table
- Move to the node below, right click and select Add Entry
- A new sub-node is created
- Select the new sub-node and open Properties
