Items

The Items category displays non-graphical business data in the active file in hierarchical order. Six categories are supported; no user creation or modification of categories is supported.

Note: You can view items in the explorer panel only when you have attached an item to the element using the Attach Item tool.

The following actions are supported:

Right-clicking a category - You can select a menu item from the pop-up menu including Zoom, Isolate and Clear Isolate.
Double-clicking a category - Expands or collapses the category.
Right-clicking an item within a category - When you right-click an element in the Elements category you see menu items related to the element type. For example, if you right-click a corridor within the Elements category you see a variety of Corridor tools. Clicking Properties opens Properties dialog in which properties of element appear.

Settings	Description
Refresh Active Tree	Refreshes the active tree to reflect changes to the DGN file.
Transparent	Turns on the transparency for selected graphical items.
Zoom	Zooms the selected graphical items.
Isolate	Isolate the selected graphical item.
Search	Enter the search condition or click the icon to search.
Expand the Query Builder	Expand or collapse the Add Criteria button for the Criteria search.
Add Criteria	Used to add search conditions for Criteria search.
Advanced Search	Displays Advanced Search dialog.
Clear Search	Clears any text entered in the search field.
