Create Distance Keepers

You can access this dialog from the following:

Ribbon: OpenRail Modeling > Light Rail Technical Preview

The Create Distance Keepers tool allows you to create distance keepers for a selected start point and end point in a rail track. Distance keepers can be displayed as a list for manipulation or interactively in the plan view. Distance keepers can be annotated and reported.

Setting	Description
Distance From Rail Start Point	How far from the start point the distance keepers should be placed.
Distance To Rail End Point	How far from the end point the distance keepers should be placed.
Minimum Distance Between Keepers	Minimum distance between each keeper.
Maximum Distance Between Keepers	Maximum distance between each keeper.
Remainder Placing	How the remainder of the distance keepers should be placed if the previous parameters specified cannot be met.

Note: Distance Keepers are 2D only.

Note: Moving a joint may recreate and recompute the joint based on specified parameters.
