Regression Line from Rails
You can access this dialog from the following:
Creates horizontal centerline geometry from selected left and right rail alignments. Rail alignments should contain only line strings without curves.
If you have rail point readings, you should first use Regression Line from Points command to create rail alignments.
To create vertical geometry of the centerline using rail elevations, Profile from Rails command should be used. This vertical should be added to the final geometry that is created with horizontal regression tools.
