Edit Wire Run
Edit Wire Run Points (Bulk)
This is a tool that allows editing points in a wire run in bulk. Below are the items in the tool.
- Wire run
- Reference line1 (allows selecting a reference line on screen, or navigate to next, previous one)
- Reference line2, has a check box to activate. If not selected tool only edits a single wire point.
- Stagger value: Stagger value, if left blank does not change the values
- Contact height: Contact height, if left blank does not change the values
- Encumbrance : Encumbrance, if left blank does not change the values
- Reverse stagger direction: Command button. Reverses stagger direction for all selected wire points that has alternating stagger. So, if stagger goes as left, right, left, right this becomes right, left, right, left. If alternating stagger is set as no (on sharp curves), nothing is changed.
Example: For a bridge crossing, encumbrance value needs to be reduced gradually. Original value is 1.2 meters. Reference lines are placed 50 meter apart.
Reference line 1 : 13
Reference line 2 : 15
Encumbrance : 0.9
Use Gradient : 0.001
As span length is 50 m = 5000 cm at each span change will be 5000 * 0.001 = 10 cm

Wire Profiles
Dynamic wire profile view that can be used to change wire properties.
Add Overlap
User selects the overlap type from the standards and places this on the model by selecting the reference line that will be the start of overlap. Overlap is than placed based on this selection then wire runs are updated. Tool checks if there is an existing overlap that will cause a clash, and does not allow placing in such a case. Reference lines are repositioned based on the span definition in the overlap table.
