This option lets the user remove the selected Configuration, Workspace or Workset from the Navigation Tree.

Accessed from:

Configuration Ribbon > Edit Tools Group

When this option is used, the selected item is removed from the active Navigation Tree to the Recycle Bin. This makes it available to be restored if needed. To permanently remove the item, it must be removed from the Recycle Bin.
