To open an existing spec, select the
Open Spec
icon from the ribbon.
Note: OpenPlant Modeler/
OpenPlant Specification Generator ships a default set of Imperial, Metric and Mixed Metric specs
and catalogs to be used. These are stored in the default
Workspace\Project directories.

Select a spec and click
Open to load the spec into the
OpenPlant Specification Generator interface.
Note: A series of
progress dialogs will display as the
OpenPlant Specification Generator opens the
catalogs, loads the spec sections and applies the spec filters.
Once the loading
process is complete, the spec is opened in the interface as follows:
Note: OpenPlant Specification Generator validates every spec when
it is opened or created.
