Electrical discipline Setup

Electrical discipline application settings are done with various tools and utilities accessed via the backstage, and Electrical and File tabs, as well as searchable in the Ribbon search (F4).

Loading Electrical Application

To load Electrical Application, do one of the following:

Click (Load Electrical).

Load ELECTRICAL from Available Applications list in MDL Applications dialog.

The BBES Database Server gets loaded in the background. The application interface window should not be closed to avoid losing database connection. The BBES Database Server is accessible on the Windows Taskbar. The BBES Database Server manages all Electrical discipline functionality and needs to be running in the background.

Note: Should the BBES Database Server get closed, while OpenPlant PID is still open, restart the Database Server. The BBES Database Server is located in ...\ServerApp\bin.

Run BBES.ini.
