Filters

Used to place pre-defined Filter and Baghouse symbols in the drawing.

The following gallery displays which can be left floating or docked to the drawing area.

Select the symbol by clicking the item name or the associated icon. After a Filter, Press or Baghouse is selected and its placement point in the drawing determined, OpenPlant PID displays the Component Properties dialog prompting you to define a tag number and component properties for the component.

Note: If the Tag Dialog Prompt option is turned off in the PID Document dialog's Settings tab, then a default tag number will be used and the Component Properties dialog does not display. The next available tag number in an incremental sequence is assigned to the component. Properties and tag numbers can be edited in the Properties dialog after placement.

All of the Filter options are placed using a fixed scale size. The following options are available:
