Paste OLE Dialog

Used to apply a special display format to the contents of the clipboard.

You can access this dialog from the following:
  • Paste Special dialog: select a Data Type and then click Paste
Setting Description
Object Displays the type of object to be pasted.
Paste As Determines the method by which an object is to be pasted.
  • Picture ? Object is pasted as an image into the design file.
  • Embedded ? Object is embedded into the design file.
  • Link ? Object is pasted as a link into the design file.
Method Determines the size or location of the object being pasted.
  • By Size ? Determines the scale of the object being pasted.
  • By Corners ? Determines the corner location of the object being pasted
Display as Icon If on, a linked or embedded object displays as an icon.
Transparent Background If on, the pasted object has a transparent background.
Rotate With View If on, the pasted object will rotate when the view is rotated.
Scale If Method is By Size, the scale of the object being pasted.
Size The size (based on the scale) of the object being pasted.
