OLECNTR Insert Dialog

Used to apply a special display format to an object inserted in a design file.



Setting Description
Paste As Determines the method by which an object is to be inserted.
  • Picture ? Object is inserted as an image into the design file.
  • Embedded ? Object is embedded into the design file.
  • Link ? Object is inserted as a link into the design file.
Method Determines the size or location of the object being inserted.
  • By Size ? Determines the scale of the object being inserted.
  • By Corners ? Determines the corner location of the object being inserted.
Display as Icon If on, a linked or embedded object displays as an icon.
Transparent Background If on, the pasted object has a transparent background.
Rotate with View If on, the pasted object rotates when the view is rotated.
Scale If Method is By Size, the scale of the object being inserted.
Size The size (based on the scale) of the object being inserted.
