Markup Settings Dialog
Used to set the path to the markup sheet files.
You can access this dialog from the following:
- Markups dialog: click the Markup Settings icon

| Search Path | Displays the directory path in which to search for the markup sheet files. Drop-down menu offers the options:

| Markup Name | Displays the name of the markup. The field displays Default but when you click the down arrow, three delivered example markup names display. These three example names are stored in PageLayout.dgnlib. These examples are
in the list box of the Named Expressions dialog and updating the External Name field.

| Markup Number Drop-Down Menu | Appends the number selected from the drop-down to the markup name. You can specify a number (one to four) of sequence digits. Options are 1, 01 (the default), 001, and 0001. As markups are created, the number is incremented automatically, for example, Markup_Model01, Markup_Model02. |
| Template DGNlib | Displays the name and path to the template DGNLib file. |

| Template | Specifies the name of the default page layout size or the name of the markup template. The default is Letter (Landscape). The drop-down menu displays all available templates and page sizes. |
| Edit | Opens a blank markup template in a new window to allow you to create a new template. If you created a template previously, opens the last template you used. Before opening a new template sheet, an alert opens asking if you want to save your changes to the overlay.dgn file in which you are currently working. |
| Preview Size | Sets the resolution of the image captured in the Markup Preview window (opens when you click the Preview icon on the Markups dialog), which is used to view the markup. Resolution must be set between 200 and 1200 pixels, default is 500 pixels. Value can be changed in 50-pixel increments. For a thumbnail view, set the resolution to a low number, such as 200 (the Small end of the slider). For a larger view, set at a high resolution (the Large end of the slider). The resolution also can be set by the MS_MARKUPVIEWRESOLUTION configuration variable. |
