To Refresh Data in a Table Placed from an Excel Workbook

If you have a table placed from an Excel workbook and the Retain Association option is turned on, any changes made in data to the source file can be updated in your table using this procedure.
  1. To update only data from the source file, Select the desired table in the DGN.
    The Refresh group is displayed in the Table Tools Contextual Tab in the ribbon.


    In the table, the row and column headings are displayed.
  2. Click the Refresh Data icon in the Table Tools contextual tab.
    Only data from the resource file is updated in the DGN.
