To Show or Hide the Cell Borders of a Table

  1. Do one of the following:
    • Press Ctrl and select multiple cells in a table.
    • Select one or more row heading or column heading.
  2. In the Table Tools > Layout contextual tab, in the Table Symbology group, from the Borders drop-down gallery, select the desired border that you want to show or hide.
  3. Click the selected border in the contextual tab.
The Borders button can also be used to change the symbology of table borders.
