To Open a DGN File from the Work Page

  1. Optional: In the Work page, from the WorkSpace list, select the desired WorkSpace.
  2. Optional: In the Work page, from the WorkSet list, select the desired WorkSet.
  3. Click Browse.

    The Open dialog opens.

  4. Optional: To change the filter, select the desired filter from the drop-down list next to the File name field.

    For example, changing the filter to “All Files [*.*]” displays all files in the current directory.

  5. Optional: Navigate to the desired drive or directory.
  6. Do one of the following:
    • In the list box, select the desired DGN file.
    • In the File name field, key in the name of the desired DGN file.
  7. Click Open.
  8. Optional: If the file is not part of the selected WorkSet , you get an alert window, mentioning that the file is not part of the WorkSet or is part of another WorkSet . Make the desired selection in the alert window and click Open.
Once a file is opened, it is listed in the Recent Files section of the Work page. Next time you can then open the file directly from the Recent Files section.
