Used to crop a reality mesh
(Boundary mode) or to define a masked area (Mask mode).
You can access this tool from the following:

dialog: Click the
Clip Reality Mesh icon.

This method selects the points to hide by drawing a block.

| Oriented Block
|
This method selects the points to hide by drawing an oriented
block.

| Oriented Block by Axis
|
This method selects the points to hide by drawing an oriented
block by axis.

|
This method selects the area to hide by drawing a 3D slab.
|
| Shape
|
This method selects the points to hide by drawing a polygon
or shape.

| Element
|
This method selects the points to hide by selecting an
element.

| View
|
This method selects the points to hide by selecting a view.

| Mode
|
Allows you to set the clipping mode to be used to
clip the reality mesh:
- Boundary - lets you
clip a reality mesh to display only the area of interest.
- Mask - lets you clip
out a portion of the reality mesh.

| Apply to all
|
Applies to all reality meshes during processing.

Note: All clip methods
support Scalable Mesh (.3sm) attachments and Web Ready Scalable Meshes streamed
from ProjectWise ContextShare. The Element method is the only one that supports
ContextCapture 3MX attachments.
