To Copy a Component

Please note this procedure explains how to copy a component using the Copy command and not the Copy to Clipboard command.

Select the component(s) using one of the Element Selection methods.
Right-click and select Copy from the context menu.
Select a point on the component(s). This will be the base insertion point when you place the copy. The copied component is affixed to the cursor.
Pick a point in the drawing to place the component. The tag number will automatically increment to the next available number.
By default, you are prompted to place another copy of the original component. Right-click to end the command.
Note: Use the Properties dialog if you need to make any changes to the properties of the copied component.
