Cad Standards - Levels
Displays when you select the CAD Standards option in the Options dialog. Allows you to define new levels, modify default levels, or import custom levels from another project to use as part of your CAD standards.
Levels shaded in Gray are system levels and cannot be deleted.
Setting | Description |

Import from selected file | If you have predefined Levels standards saved to an existing file, you can import them to the current project. Enter the directory location into the field, or click the Browse icon next to the field and use the ensuing dialog to select the directory. |
Import from opened file | Imports the predefined levels from the existing open drawing file. The will be added at the bottom of the Levels grid. |
Import | Imports the levels either from the selected file or the opened file. For instance, if you have a drawing open with defined levels not currently in the project, this option will import those levels into the current project. |
Levels | The Levels Grid list all of the defined levels in the project. The levels whose Description field is highlighted in gray are system levels. These levels cannot be deleted, but you are able to Rename the level and edit its attributes. |
Description | Displays the description defined for the level. To modify the Description, click in the field and type in a new value. |
Level Name | Displays the name defined for the level. To modify the Name, click in the field and type in a new value. |
Transparency | Edit by either entering a value directly into the field, or click in the field and using the arrow buttons to adjust the transparency level. |
Add | Click to Add to add a new level to the project. When the level is added, you will need to provide a Description for the level and usually a Name to associate the level with. If you define an existing level name such as E_cond-PVC, then the level will inherit the attributes of that level. |
Delete | Deletes the selected level. If you select a level to delete and is has other settings related to it, a Confirmation dialog displays regarding information on the settings related to the level prompting you to confirm whether to delete the related settings as well. |
OK | Saves the settings and closes the dialog. |
Cancel | Closes the dialog without saving the changes. |
Apply | Applies the changes but the dialog remains open. |
