New and Changed in OpenPlant Isometrics Manager CONNECT Edition Update 5

The following items summarize the new features and enhancements in the OpenPlant Isometrics Manager CONNECT Edition Update 5 release.

Feature Description
ReLoad/Unload iModels A context menu has been added when you right click on the active iModel that provides options to either Reload (Refresh) or Unload the iModel.
Skewed Pipelines Improved the functionality of drawing skewed pipelines which were created using AutoPLANT Modeler. In previous releases the pipeline graphics as well as the dimensions were not aligned correctly in the isometric. This has been fixed in this release.
Stand Out Dimensions A new field has been added letting you define the Minimum Leader length for stand out dimensions.
AutoPIPE Dummy Leg Supports Improved functionality for displaying dummy leg supports which are drawn using the AutoPIPE application.
Split Isos The Split on Attribute option creates a new iso sheet whenever the selected component attribute value changes between two components, such as Notes, Diameter Spec etc.
OpenPlant Isometrics Manager now lets you use the Attribute as suffix in the Sheet Name when splitting the iso.

About Technology Preview Features

Some features delivered with this edition of OpenPlant Isometrics Manager are specifically identified as "Technology Preview" features.

Technology Preview features are:

  • currently unsupported
  • may not be functionally complete
  • not suitable for use/deployment in production

However, these features are provided to you as a courtesy and the primary goal is for the feature to gain wider exposure with the goal of full support in the future.

You may find these features useful in a non-production environment. You are welcome to provide feedback and functionality suggestions for a Technology Preview feature before it becomes fully supported. Bentley Systems intends to fully support Technology Preview features in a future release, at which time the features will no longer be identified as Technology Preview features.
