New and Changed in OpenPlant Isometrics Manager CONNECT Edition Update 2

The following items summarize the new features and enhancements in the OpenPlant Isometrics Manager CONNECT Edition Update 2 release.

CONNECT Licensing

This product version utilizes CONNECT Licensing, which is not supported by SELECT activation key(s). CONNECT Licensing features new behavior to enhance your organization's user administration and security with mandatory user sign-in via CONNECTION Client to access the application. If you are already signed in to the CONNECTION Client, you have met this prerequisite. If you have not, please refer to the Administrator's Resource Center and/or contact your administrator for assistance in the registration and sign-in process.

This release of OpenPlant Isometrics Manager is delivered with CONNECT Licensing. V8i releases of AutoPLANT do not use CONNECT Licensing. Due to this discrepancy, if OpenPlant Isometrics Manager CONNECT Edition Update 2 is run with any version of AutoPLANT Modeler V8i, you will be charged for OpenPlant Isometrics Manager CONNECT Edition Update 2 on a quarterly term basis for all usage above the number of OPIM licenses you already own. For that reason we do not recommend you use these versions together.

The upcoming AutoPLANT CONNECT Edition release will be compatible with the CONNECT Licensing and will resolve this issue.

Setting	Description
Spool Enhancements	Enhancements have been made to the performance for creating spool isometrics.
Output Format	A control has been added to the Isometric Style Configuration dialog which lets you configure the type of output formats to create.
Launch DWG Files	You now have the ability to launch a successfully created isometric in a DWG file format.
Dimension AutoPLANT Additional Material	The ability to dimension Additional Material from AutoPLANT miscellaneous attachments has been added.
