Automatic Iso Splitting - Spool Settings
The Spool Settings page provides criteria when splitting isometrics into multiple sheets. Spool settings can either be setup in the design systems such as OpenPlant Modeler or AutoPLANT Modeler or defined here where the Isometrics Manager will determine how the sheets are split.
Determining the Shop/Field Status
The logic used by
OpenPlant Isometrics Manager to determine component shop/field
status
- Initially all components and joints are marked as shop.
- All non-NEW components (continuation, existing) are marked as field. Please note that when a component is marked as field, the joints associated with the component are also marked as field.
- The component rules are applied and every component that satisfies one of the rules is marked as field. Here the shop/field setting from the design system can be used.
- The node rules are applied and every node (port) that satisfies the rules has its associated joint set to field.
- A joint with field fasteners associated with the joint is marked as field.
- Joints marked as field have the fasteners associated with the joint also marked as field.
- Joints associated with a spool break are optionally marked as field.
- Joints associated with a sheet break are optionally marked as field.
- Shop components marked as shop but with all field joints are optionally marked as field.
