Bentley OpenComms Designer Help

Annotation

Text Styles are used to define annotation symbology for all OpenComms features when extracted in a spatial session or when in a DGN persistent project. When text styles are defined in the project DGNLIB, they can be imported into the project DGN seed file and will be used when the features are extracted. When changes are made in the project’s TextStyles.dgnlib file, they will be reflected in the project DGN seed file.

Copper Annotation Setup

  1. From the OpenComms menu select File > OpenComms Settings > OSP Common>Annotation:

  2. The Annotation dialog box opens.

  4. Click Update to update the database.
Note: OpenComms feature annotation text style definitions come by default in the delivered OpenComms DGN seed files. A user can use the delivered text style names or choose to create new text style definitions to be used and assigned to OpenComms features.
