X-Conn Connector

Selecting the X-Conn Connector command from the Placement section of the Fiber tab allows the user to place a non-graphical internal jumper cable to connect from fiber OSP to a X-Conn Device:

After clicking the X-Conn Connector command, the user is prompted to select a device to contain the internal cable. The Internal Cable Information dialog displays, allowing the user to define the properties of the pigtail cable:

After filling in the appropriate fields and clicking OK, the user can continue placing X-Conn Connector cables by selecting the next device.

Note: The ‘non-graphical’ X-Conn Connector is placed at the point of origin of the cell of the device in which it is being placed. With Constructions Level checked in the View Attributes dialog, the small jumper will show as a dot…with Constructions turned off it will not be visible.
